AWARDED WITH THE RECORDING MUSICIANS ASSOCIATION OF LOS ANGELES GRANT
I am honored to announce that I have been awarded with the 2011 Recording Musicians Association of Los Angeles (RMALA) Grant, granted by the Hollywood Studio Symphony Orchestra musicians.
As a participant of the ASCAP Film and TV Scoring Workshop with Richard Bellis, I was selected as the grant recipient that annually is granted to one of the twelve participants of the Workshop.
“The RMA-LA grant is presented to the participant with the highest average score as judged by the RMA musicians, based upon the following criteria: podium procedure, composition, and general musicality from the workshop recording session. It is a monetary award that is applied towards an LA based AFM Demo recording session for promoting the composer's talents within the following calendar year”.
I am very thankful to the RMALA for this award and to the Hollywood Studio Symphony musicians who played during the session and voted for me. Thanks!
